Although it is part of the process, there is still a lot of confusion when to use which Incoterm. VSL has all the knowledge about all Incoterms in house and can therefore determine which Incoterm applies to your specific transport.
The following agreements are determined in the Incoterms contracts:
- Whether the seller or buyer is responsible for arranging insurance, authorizations and other formalities;
- Until when the buyer or seller is responsible for arranging the transport;
- The moment within the transport until when the costs and risks are borne by the seller or buyer;
- Obligations of buyer and seller.
